01. The TL;DR
Macho is designed to respect your privacy. By default, your data is stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal data, your macros, or your health metrics to third-party advertisers. You own your data.
02. Data We Collect
To provide you with personalized macro targets and analytics, Macho processes the following information locally on your device:

Physical Metrics: Age, weight, height, gender, and estimated body fat percentage.

Daily Logs: Food consumption, macro intake, morning weight, and sleep hours.

Smart Logging: Natural language meal descriptions are processed via secure APIs to calculate macros, but are not tied to your identity.
03. Google Health Connect
Macho requests permission to read and write data to Google Health Connect (such as Steps, Sleep, Active Calories, and Weight) to synchronize your fitness data across your devices and wearables.
The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We will never transfer, sell, or use your Health Connect data for advertising or marketing purposes.
04. Cloud Sync & Pro Subscriptions
If you upgrade to Macho Pro, your data is securely synced to our cloud databases to ensure you never lose your progress. Subscriptions and payments are handled entirely by the Google Play Store; Macho does not process, store, or have access to your credit card information.
